Basket of Daisies
Royal Icing Daisies on a 10" round Buttercream covered cake. This was made long before I started playing with fondant.

Buzz Lightyear
Proof I can do a simple sheet cake design... but it will taste far better than the store bought kind, I assure you. The sun burst and moon are made of flavored Fondant, the stars and lettering are Royal Icing.

Poinsettia Wreath
Royal Icing Poinsettias on Buttercream leaves and "snow".

Pirate Booty
Apologies for the image quality of these shots. I forgot my camera on this day, so this and the next picture are copies of copies of copies. The only Fondant on this cake is the Pirate Flag and letters in the sand. The Chest walls are Royal Icing, the Pearls are white gum balls; there are crushed Jolly Rancher "Jewels" and Foil-Wrapped Chocolate Coins, and the "sand" is a meticulous combination of sugars and cookie crumbs.

Pirate Booty (& the crazy Cake Lady)
Just to show the scale of this cake. Inside the Chest is a double barrel 9"x13" cake, White Cake, Fresh Strawberry and Custard Filling with Chocolate Buttercream. I would love love love to do this one again!

Jon's Blue Fish
He's just plain cute! This big guy was made on the fly for one of my brothers a few years back. Different sized Paisley pans were used for the cake and the tiers were carved smooth, iced in tinted buttercream, and decorated with fondant accents and "sand".
